About Jim Wilkinson

Jim Wilkinson has been selling homes in the Snohomish and King County areas for over 33 years.  The majority of his business involves resale homes, condomiums, investment properties and vacant land on the west side of Lake Washington.  His market area extends from Everett on the north to Mount Baker/Seattle on the south.

With a background in banking and sales in New York, Jim moved to the northwest in 1978, at which time he began his real estate career in the Everett/ greater Snohomish County area.   While at that first real estate company (which specialized in land development and new home construction) he learned a lot about home building and various land use issues. 

Later, he joined American Properties NW, Inc. where he was a top producer during his five years there.  In 1986 he developed a large commercial office and residential building for a client, and also opened The Wilkinson Company, Realtors in the Mill Creek area.

In 1988, realizing that the real estate industry was in a state of change, he closed his small company and chose to associate with Windermere Real Estate, where he has successfully worked for over twenty-three years as an Associate Broker.  He continues to specialize in resale homes and condominiums, small multi-family projects and land.

During his many years in real estate, he obtained his broker’s license, as well as several National Association of Realtors designations: GRI, CRS and SRES.  He is currently a Managing Broker at Windermere Real Estate GH, LLC.

As a hobby, Jim has personally remodeled over a dozen homes.  This experience gives him the opportunity to deal successfully with his customers’ and clients’ needs, particularly when considering a “fixer” or project type property.  He has an eye for “what can be” and has helped dozens of buyers by guiding them regarding how a property can be improved, thereby increasing its value.

Jim owns and manages several properties in Eastern Washington, and alos owns and operates several deluxe waterfron weekly rental units in Edmonds.

When it comes to staging a property for sale, Jim is the best.  He knows exactly what buyers see and he helps sellers present a market-ready home which will have maximum appeal to potential buyers.

Over the years, Jim has expanded the geographic area in which he works to most of Snohomish and King Counties, working along the I-5 corridor from Everett on the north to Seattle on the south.  He continues to rank as one of the area’s top producers, with scores of repeat clients over the years.

Jim attributes his success to doing his best to listen to his customers and clients, coming up with creative solutions, treating them as if they were family or friends, and having a positive attitude that “never gives up”.
